Frank graduated in 1995 from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, and also has a Masters degree in Manipulative Physiotherapy. He has extensive experience in both the private and not-for-profit sectors and is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives.
Frank uses a suite of treatment techniques including musculoskeletal massage and manipulation, ultrasound, dry needling, acupuncture, cupping, and exercise prescription.
He takes care to ensure treatment techniques are suitable and appropriate for individuals, and will take time to build toward specific treatments where indicated. His approach has helped to manage extreme and chronic pain for multiple number of NDIS participants with complex issues.
Frank has worked with NDIS participants since 2020, and his experienced includes working with neurological, functional, bariatric, geriatric and musculoskeletal issues.
In 2010, Frank won the Best Individual Contribution to Workplace Health and Safety in SafeWork SA’s annual Safe Work Awards, for the development of a bariatric slide hoist sheet, and also developed the staff training for transfers using the slide hoist.
Frank loves meeting a variety of people from different walks of life; learning by engaging with them and helping them towards their goals, and in his own time he takes great pleasure in eating food he hasn’t had to cook!
Mai has 26 years experience as a physiotherapist. She takes a holistic approach to treatment, and in her work, aims to create the best possible environment for the body to achieve its optimal potential.
Mai completed a post-graduate Masters in Sports and Manipulative Physiotherapy.
Mai currently practices in the modalities of cranial sacral therapy, visceral manipulation, manual therapy for the nervous system, lymphatic drainage therapy, acupuncture needling, and acutonic sound therapy (using tuning forks instead of needles).
Mai is also interested in energetic exercise therapies such as yoga and qigong. Mai has worked in the UK, country SA/ Victoria and is currently based in Adelaide.
Mai is widely travelled and loves meeting a variety of people from different walks of life. She enjoys learning and assisting clients on their path to wellness.
